CME Questionnaire  Conflicts of Interest

The 12th European Glaucoma Society Congress is accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) to provide the following CME activity for medical specialists. The EACCME is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS),

The 12th European Glaucoma Society Congress is designated for up to 21 hours of European external CME credits. Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.

Through an agreement between the European Union of Medical Specialists and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Information on the process to convert EACCME credit to AMA credit can be found at Live educational activities, occurring outside of Canada, recognized by the UEMS-EACCME for ECMEC credits are deemed to be Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

In order to acquire the credits please complete the CME questionnaire which will be available on line from 23 June to 14 July, 2016. Please note that the registration code, printed on your badge is necessary to access the CME questionnaire and to print your certificate.

EBO Accredited Courses

EBO The harmonisation of European education in ophthalmology is one of the task forces of the European Board of Ophthalmology (EBO) promoted by the EU to increase mobility of health care practitioners within Europe. The European Network of Education for Trainees (ENET) is an EBO initiative offering a teaching programme for European residents by building a European network of European teachers and teaching programmes by different national and international scientific societies covering all fields of subspecialties in ophthalmology. Quality of this teaching programme is guaranteed through accreditation. The EBO accredited courses are indicated with the EBO logo in the courses program.
